What’s the difference between the 14-day and 22-day versions?
The 14-day runs Mexico City → Playa del Carmen. The 22-day adds a Pacific coast segment (Puerto Vallarta → Guadalajara → Bajío) before joining the same route in Mexico City.
How does transport work—any flights?
Mix of private vehicle, taxi, and walking; the 22-day also uses public A/C buses on some legs. There’s one internal flight (Oaxaca → Villahermosa) on both versions; standard economy baggage limits apply.
How much luggage can I bring?
Pack light and soft: one main bag/duffel plus a daypack. Some colonial hotels don’t have lifts; stairs are common.
Are optional activities available (cenotes, Uxmal, Islas Marietas, etc.)?
Yes—plenty, and they’re own expense unless listed as included. Your CEO will outline timing, availability and prices on tour (seasonal/weather-dependent).
Is there Wi-Fi and phone signal?
Common in hotels and cities; can be slower or patchy in smaller towns and older buildings. Expect decent mobile data in urban areas.
What about heat, altitude, and hurricane season?
Mexico City/Oaxaca/Puebla sit at altitude—take day one easy and hydrate. Yucatán is hot/humid year-round; carry water and sun protection. Hurricane season runs June–November in the Caribbean; itineraries may adjust for safety.
Do I need visas or to pay local taxes?
Visa needs vary by passport—check before booking. An entry/exit tax in Quintana Roo may apply (often included in airfare; confirm with your airline).
Is travel insurance required?
Strongly recommended. Ensure it covers medical care, trip interruption, and any activities you plan to do.
How do I book and confirm?
Choose your departure date, pay the deposit, and provide traveller details (full names, DOBs, dietaries). Final documents including meeting point and flight guidance follow after confirmation.
What’s not included that I should budget for?
International flights, airport transfers, optional activities, meals/drinks not listed, personal gear, laundry, souvenirs, and tips/gratuities (at your discretion).
