Meet the Human Behind Zero Trace
I grew up in the bush—barefoot more often than not—learning early on to respect wild places and the stories they hold. Adventure has never been just a pastime; it’s been woven into my life from the start.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: scuba instructor, boat skipper, hostel owner, travel photographer, and tour guide. I’ve slept under open skies, navigated rough seas, led groups through wild terrain, and shared countless nights by the campfire swapping stories with strangers-turned-friends.
Zero Trace Tours came from that lifetime of wandering and working in wild places. It’s the result of wanting to connect people with adventures that are real, raw, and respectful to the landscapes and communities they touch.
It’s built from experience, lessons learned, and the belief that the best journeys leave both the traveller and the place better than they were before.
