- Day 1 Paro → Thimphu – Buddha Point & Memorial Chorten
- Day 2 Thimphu → Chendebji – Trek 11 km Pelela Pass to Rukubji, camp
- Day 3 Chendebji → Tsangkha – 21 km full trekking day, camp
- Day 4 Tsangkha → Trongsa – 21 km, finish at mighty Trongsa Dzong
- Day 5 Trongsa – Rest day, explore dzong & museum
- Day 6 Trongsa → Gyetsa – 9.5 km over Yotong La, camp
- Day 7 Gyetsa → Bumthang – 17.5 km via Kikila, homestay
- Day 8 Bumthang → Punakha – Scenic drive, Punakha Dzong, homestay
- Day 9 Punakha → Paro – Drive, National Museum & Rinpung Dzong

Physical Rating Strenuous trekking days (up to 8 hrs) with significant ascent/descent. Good fitness and previous multi-day hiking experience recommended. Maximum altitude 3,425 m – acute mountain sickness is rare but possible.
